The Brief
Plant Junkie already existed but sales were poor and Better Body Foods wanted to reposition the brand from plant based dressings to premium superfoods such as seeds, avocado oil and salad toppers.
The task was to refresh the brand to portray quality and feel premium, be approachable, clean, fresh and impactful. It needed to be aimed at the younger, fast changing plant based food market
I did extensive research of competitors as well as strategy for where and how to position the new plant junkie in the current market.
The final design
The client had lots of information they wanted on FOP and we really had to fight to keep the design as clean and clear as possible. They choose this design as the typographic area at the top allowed them space to convey serving suggestions and marketing text but at the same time acting as a large block of colour for easy customer navigation. The idea was that extra finishes such as a spot UV on the bold type and touches of foil elevate the design to look premium as well as natural.
